The Africa Information Highway was officially launched on Tuesday, February 25 in Cape Town by the African Development Bank. The launch event, which included a live demonstration of the Africa Information Highway, was held at the University of Cape Town. The AfDB’s Chief Economist and Vice-President, Mthuli Ncube, Several authorities of University of Cape Town and a lot of post graduate students attended the ceremony. The AfDB was led by the AfDB’s Chief Economist and Vice-President, Mthuli Ncube and comprising Beejaye Kokil, Kouakou Louis and Baradandikanya Christophe.showcasing, through the live demonstration, the multiple benefits to all stakeholders seeking data on Africa.
